With decades of teaching experience, formal dance education, and countless professional development studies we aim to provide you with the best program for you and your students!

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Tibbens, I am the founder of The Young Dancer's Curriculum and Tiny Toes Dance.   I started dance at age five in my home town of Fayetteville, NC.  I went on to competed in national competitions all over the east coast, and danced with the North Carolina State Ballet Company.  After high school I attended North Carolina School of the Arts in 2003, and in 2006 graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance.  During my time at UNC Charlotte, I performed with local jazz dance companies.
My greatest professional achievement is attending the School of Jacob's Pillow Jazz Summer Intensive Program.

In 2006 I moved to Northern Virginia and began teaching at Adagio Ballet in Arlington, VA.  During my spare time between teaching class and professionally performing I started working on The Young Dancer's Curriculum.  After decades of teaching and editing the curriculum it's ready to share with the world.
